Granting tracking permissions
macOS
On macOS, you only need to give three permissions to Traqq to ensure proper tracking: Notifications, Browser and Screen Recording.
1. Granting notifications permission
To manually enable notifications, open your System Preferences and follow these steps.
Step 1
Open Notifications.
Step 2
Find Traqq on the left and click on it.
Step 3
Switch 'Allow Notifications' to ON.
2. Granting Screen recording permission
To manually enable screen recording, open your System Preferences and follow these steps:
Step 1
Open Security & Privacy.
Step 2
Find Screen Recording on the left and click on it.
3. Granting browsers (URL tracking) permission
You must also enable browser tracking from the Security & Privacy page.
Step 1
Find Automation on the left and click on it.
Step 2
Check the boxes next to all browsers, as well as System Events. If the browser you’re using is not available here, please contact our Support.
Following these edits, you will receive this pop-up. Simply click on Quit & Reopen to restart Traqq with the new settings.
Windows
Simply right-click on the app and select 'Run as administrator'.
Traqq will not be able to track your activity if it does not have the permissions required for accurate screen and activity tracking.
